Our Foot Care service operates in the area covered by Maidstone Borough Council. The service is delivered by a team of trained nurses who are trained and supported by West Kent Primary Care Trust.
The service is available to residents of the Borough who are not residing in hospital aged over 65 or 50 with special needs and have been assessed by ourselves as requiring Foot care and it is appropriate for us to provide the service. We are not able to provide a service to anyone who is diabetic, on anticoagulants, have a blood borne virus or receiving more than 5mg of steroid medication.
The service is available in a number of clinics throughout the Borough of Maidstone or in the home if a client is unable to attend a clinic. There is a charge for the service and our current rates are £14.50 for a clinic visit and £10.50 for a home visit.
If you or someone you know requires Foot Care we will need to complete a referral form. Please click here to download or contact our office in 11 Mill street on 01622 753618 to complete over the telephone.
As our service is offered in the home we are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection for this service. Our certificate number is H560002607 and service number is 0000053167. You can view their latest inspection report on our service at their website www.csci.org.uk
The clinic was opened in October 2008 and was part funded by donations
